Shipping Information

At Prime Directive Comics, we know condition and packaging matter just as much as getting your order out the door. Comics, cards, graded collectibles, and sealed products are packed with care to help protect them throughout transit.

Order Processing & Handling

Most orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 24–72 hours after the order is placed.

Handling time can vary depending on current order volume, weekends, holidays, product type, and the amount of packaging required to safely prepare your order.

During especially busy release weeks, major sales, holidays, or periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take closer to the full 72-hour handling window.

The handling period refers to the time required for Prime Directive Comics to prepare your order for shipment. Carrier transit time begins after the package has been accepted by the shipping carrier.

Shipping Rates

Available shipping methods and rates are calculated automatically during checkout.

Shipping costs are based on factors including:

• Total shipment weight

• Package dimensions

• Delivery destination

• Product type

• Available shipping carriers

• Selected delivery service

The applicable package size, shipment weight, available carriers, and shipping rates will automatically populate at checkout based on the items in your order.

This allows you to review the available shipping options and their costs before completing your purchase.

Products Fulfilled by Other Suppliers

Some products available through Prime Directive Comics may be fulfilled and shipped directly by one of our approved suppliers or partner retailers rather than from Prime Directive Comics.

When an item is fulfilled by another supplier, this will be identified on the applicable product page and/or during checkout before your order is completed.

Supplier-fulfilled products may have:

• Different processing and handling times

• Different shipping rates

• Different carrier options

• Separate tracking information

• Different delivery estimates

• Separate packaging

• Different shipping, return, or cancellation policies

Before purchasing a supplier-fulfilled item, please review the shipping and fulfillment information provided on that product’s item page.

Where applicable, the product page may include additional information or a link to the supplier’s shipping policies. We recommend reviewing those terms before completing your purchase, especially for preorders, specialty products, oversized items, or products shipping separately from the rest of your order.

If an order includes both products fulfilled by Prime Directive Comics and products fulfilled by another supplier, you may receive multiple shipments and multiple tracking numbers.

You will be shown applicable shipping information during checkout so you can review how your order will be fulfilled before submitting payment.

Shipping Carriers

Available carriers may vary depending on the size, weight, value, and destination of your order.

The available carrier and service options will be displayed during checkout.

Prime Directive Comics may use different carriers or service levels depending on which shipping options are available for a particular order.

Tracked Shipping

When you select a tracked shipping option, tracking information will be provided once your order has been prepared and shipped.

You will receive an email containing your tracking number after the shipment is processed.

Tracking information may take some time to begin displaying movement after the shipping label is created. In some cases, the carrier must first scan the package into its network before tracking updates appear.

For supplier-fulfilled products, tracking information may be provided directly by the supplier or through Prime Directive Comics depending on the fulfillment method.

Economy or Untracked Shipping

Some smaller or lower-cost orders may qualify for an economy shipping option that does not include full package tracking.

If an untracked option is available, it will be clearly presented during checkout.

Customers who would like shipment visibility throughout delivery should select an available tracked shipping service.

Comics

Comic books are packaged with protection against bending and other normal shipping hazards whenever reasonably possible.

Packaging may include combinations of:

• Comic bags and boards

• Protective cardboard

• Rigid comic mailers

• Bubble protection

• Shipping boxes

The exact packaging method depends on the number, size, value, and type of comics being shipped.

Trading Cards

Trading cards are packaged according to the type, quantity, and value of the cards being shipped.

Depending on the order, protection may include:

• Penny sleeves

• Top loaders or semi-rigid holders

• Team bags

• Protective cardboard

• Bubble protection

• Padded mailers

• Boxes

Higher-value cards may receive additional protection.

Graded Comics & Graded Cards

CGC, PSA, Beckett, and other graded collectibles require additional protection because of their rigid holders and collectible value.

Graded items are securely packed using appropriate cushioning and protective materials and will normally ship in a box rather than a standard envelope or lightweight mailer.

Sealed TCG Products & Collectibles

Booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, bundles, decks, and other sealed products will be packed according to their size and weight.

Whenever practical, we use properly sized packaging to reduce unnecessary movement inside the shipping box.

Combined Orders

When multiple products are purchased in the same order, Prime Directive Comics may combine those items into one shipment when practical.

Packaging and shipping rates will be calculated based on the combined size and weight of the order.

In certain situations, an order may need to be shipped in more than one package because of product size, availability, preorder release dates, packaging requirements, or because one or more products are being fulfilled by another supplier.

Preorders

Orders containing preorder products may have different shipping timelines than products that are currently in stock.

The estimated release date listed for a preorder is generally based on information provided by the publisher, manufacturer, or distributor and may change.

If an order contains both in-stock and preorder merchandise, shipment timing may depend on the products purchased and the shipping arrangement associated with the order.

Supplier-fulfilled preorders may also follow the individual supplier’s processing, release, and shipping policies. Please review the applicable product page before placing the order.

Delivery Times

Delivery estimates provided during checkout are carrier estimates and are separate from our 24–72 hour handling period.

Once a shipment has been transferred to the carrier, actual delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and may be affected by weather, holidays, regional delays, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside the direct control of Prime Directive Comics.

Supplier-fulfilled items may follow different handling and delivery timelines, which will be governed by the applicable supplier’s fulfillment process.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

Incorrect or incomplete addresses can result in delays, returned packages, or additional shipping charges.
